Fatulì cheese


Fatulì dialect means “little piece”, is a goat cheese native of Val Saviore is made with raw goat milk the blonde of’Adamello. This native breed Alpine was once widespread in the area of the upper Val Camonica: unfortunately because of genetic mixing, has undergone a gradual reduction. In recent years, because of the risk of extinction, they have started the process of preservation that are causing a ‘turnaround enabling the repopulation. It is said that the small size of fatulì are attributable to the fact that once the farmers were using the mold as the soup plate of soup.
