Bagòss – 250/300 gr

Let yourself be seduced by Bagòss, a great traditional hard cheese, produced exclusively on the mountain pastures of Bagolino (Caffaro Valley). Its unique features? The addition of saffron to the curd gives it an unmistakable bright yellow color and the long aging process develops a harmonious, dry, and intense flavor.

  • Alpine Character: Made with raw cow’s milk from mountain pastures.
  • Distinguishing Features: Firm texture with very fine holes, intense yellow color thanks to the saffron. When you cut the cheese, you’ll “cry for joy”!
  • Flavor: Intense, with notes of fresh fruit and the typical aromas of the mountain pastures.
  • Ideal Pairings: Aged red wines, polenta (the grilled crusts are delicious!), Kaiser pears.
